Testing Video on Canon 60D
Saturday, May 21st, 2011I put this together just so I could see what my 60D was capable of. I am definately no videographer and should probably stick to still images. When it’s actually in focus (manual focus), it’s very sharp. A DSLR allows you to play with depth of field very easily which is something that a normal video camera struggles with. This lets you get some cool out of focus action otherwise known as ‘bokeh’ in your videos. This was shot with a 50mm f/1.8II and a 24-105mm f/4L IS.
Water Drop
Friday, May 6th, 2011Got bored and tried to take one of those water drop photos. These damn things are hard to time properly. Think it turned out ok for a first attempt. Next time I might try a proper setup rather than the dripping tap on my sink.
