Thursday, February 2nd, 2012I was on my way home from helping a friend move out of his house. At the time I thought I was silly that I had forgotten to take my camera gear out of the car to make more space for stuff. Now I’m pleased that I had it with me or I wouldn’t have a photo of this great sunset. Moral of the story – always carry a camera.

Few people actually take the time to look and enjoy the natural light show that goes on in front of their eyes. As a photographer I look at every sunset and enjoy the view first and then capture it forever on my camera. While a sunset happens every day, no two are ever the same. That’s why I find them so interesting.
Playing With My New Lighting Gear

Toowoomba Picnic Point Sunrise Christmas 2011
Wednesday, December 28th, 2011I finished work at 4:15am christmas morning and rushed up to Picnic Point to catch the sunrise. I didn’t have time to go home and grab my tripod so I had to use the railing. Apart from the composition which I couldn’t really control without a tripod I’m quite happy with it.
