This portrait shoot was a lot of fun and brought together a small team of professionals to create the final images. For this shoot I first have to say a big thank you to Danielle from Shim Sharee Salon for doing a fantastic job with hair, Elle from Luminosa for doing amazing make up, Anita from Artistic Designs – Flights of Fancy for providing accessories and lastly but certainly not least the stunning Danni who was the subject for the afternoon.
On this shoot I was again teaming up with one of my favourite models Crystal and Kiarn from Natural Beauty Photography who provided hair and make up while I provided training in lighting. For this I had to truck out my studio lighting equipment on to location to overpower the mid day sun. This shoot was a lot of fun. It also shows what a good photographer could do with an extra 30 mins to shoot formal shots at a wedding and why you should consider that on your day.
This was a photoshoot for Hannah who I have worked with twice now and has been fantastic both times. This was a hastily arranged portfolio shoot and despite the short notice the results were great.
Here’s a few images from the afternoon. If you want to book your own model portfolio shoot send me an email to enquire@timswinson.com
Lately I’ve been working with Kiarn from Natural Beauty Photography teaching and mentoring her in the use of off camera flash and general lighting. This was the first mentoring session we set up and the theme was trash the dress.
We didn’t so much trash the dresses in the end, more got them a bit wet and muddy. Nothing that wouldn’t wash out.
Here’s some of my images from the shoot. Click through to the post to see more.
A group of photographers and I got together with some models to run around Toowoomba CBD on a Thursday afternoon. Needless to say we got plenty of funny looks especially from an overly interested parking inspector that hung around to watch for a while. Some of the results:
